Kortne Fordhas been named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi following Saturday's draw against Houston Dynamo.
The homegrown defender was selected as the Rapids' Man of the Match this weekend due to his stellar performance on the back line. While Ford’s heroic block in the 38th-minute helped his team preserve a clean sheet, he also made 62 successful passes, including four in the final third. He also won four aerial battles and racked up five clearances.
The Rapids return to action this Saturday against Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium where kickoff is slated for 8:00 PM. (Altitude)
