A top tier performance against league-leading LAFC has landed Sam Vines on the Team of the Week (Week 17) presented by Audi.
The 20-year-old defender slowed MLS Golden Boot leader, Carlos Vela and helped the Rapids earn a third shutout of the season. Overall, Vines completed 23 passes, had five clearances, two interceptions and one tackle.
The Rapids return to action this Thursday, July 4 against New England Revolution at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 PM MT (TICKETS)
