The Colorado Rapids (12-13-7, 43 pts., 7th West) are set to host Fan Appreciation Night in their final home match of the 2026 MLS regular season against Chicago Fire FC (15-10-7, 52 pts., 4th East) on Saturday, October 31. Kickoff at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park is set for 7:30 p.m. MT with coverage available on Apple TV, Altitude Sports Radio, TICO Sports Spanish Radio, the Colorado Rapids app, and ColoradoRapids.com.

The Rapids have numerous clinching scenarios for the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs on Saturday night, with a win putting the club in a prime position to secure their spot.

With a win on Saturday, Colorado would need the following results to clinch:

  • Portland loss/draw vs. Houston OR
  • Seattle loss at Vancouver OR
  • Salt Lake loss at San Jose AND LA Galaxy loss/draw vs. Austin

If the Rapids were to draw against Chicago, the clinching scenarios would be:

  • Portland loss vs. Houston OR
  • LA loss vs. Austin AND Portland loss vs. Houston OR
  • Salt Lake draw at San Jose AND LA Galaxy draw vs. Austin AND Portland loss vs. Houston

Colorado look to continue their success at home as of late, with the club currently riding a ten-match unbeaten streak at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. The run spans back to the resumption of the schedule following the FIFA World Cup back in July, with the club posting a 7-0-3 record.

The Rapids’ most recent result came on Wednesday on the road in San Jose. Colorado fought to a 2-2 draw with the Earthquakes, with Morgan Whittaker and Darren Yapi logging the goals. The draw marked five unbeaten matches in a row for the Rapids, with each point proving to be crucial in the playoff race with only two matches remaining in the regular season.

On the other end of this weekend’s inter-conference clash is a Chicago side that has had an impressive campaign so far, leading them to fourth place in the Eastern Conference at this point in the season. Their most recent result came this past Wednesday against Orlando City SC in a 2-2 draw at Soldier Field.

In addition to Halloween, Saturday also marks Fan Appreciation night, with plenty of fun in store for fans before, during, and after the match. The list of all activations throughout the night can be found on the club’s website HERE.
