COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Rapids Academy midfielder Andrew Brown has been called up to the Guyana U-14 Youth National Team for their upcoming training camp and appearance in the CFU Under-14 Challenge Series Boys Tournament. Brown joined Guyana for training camp that started on August 4 before they travel to the Dominican Republic on August 14.
Guyana has three matches scheduled in the tournament at this point, with the nation going up against Montserrat on August 16, Anguilla on August 17, and The Bahamas on August 19.
Brown, 14, started his time with Rapids Academy in the Futures Program with his participation at El Arbolito Cup and the Patterson Cup. Since then, the midfielder featured within both the U-13 and U-14 groups within the Academy over the past two seasons.
