The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, an annual knock-out tournament featuring soccer teams from all levels of American soccer (from amateur through MLS), is in its 101st year, making it the oldest continuously-running soccer competition in the United States. The Rapids last hosted a match on July 10, 2007, topping the California Victory 3-1 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
