With their 2-0 win over the Portland Timbers in their last home match, the Rapids reached 21 games unbeaten at home, extending a club record they had set a week prior. Colorado’s 21 game-stretch currently ranks 7th all time in MLS.

Defender and 2022 MLS SuperDraft pick Anthony Markanich recorded his first professional minutes in the Rapids' Open Cup game this week, playing all 90 minutes plus stoppage time. He can make his official MLS debut on Saturday against LAFC.

Colorado and LAFC are both battling hectic May schedules––the Rapids are returning to altitude for their second game in 48 hours after their Wednesday night Open Cup matchup was postponed to Thursday afternoon due to inclement weather. LAFC is on their fourth of eight games slated for this month.

Defender Lalas Abubakar will make his 100th MLS start on Saturday.
