With his third season in MLS, Dillon Powers again clocked-up at least 30 appearances for the Rapids. For a second successive season, the 2013 MLS Rookie of the Year was the team-leader in assists (6). The first of his assists led to the Rapids’ first goal of 2015, in the 4-0 thumping of FC Dallas (4/10). That match marked the sixth occasion that Powers registered a goal and an assist in the same game. He netted the team’s second of the night. That performance in Frisco earned Powers a place in the league’s Team of the Week (6). His third and final goal of the season came at Sporting Park (10/21), and set the Rapids on their way to a first win in Kansas City since 2002.
