Today's quote comes from Rapids goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul following the Rapids' season opening victory over Los Angeles:

"It’s one of thirty games. It’s a great win that we had especially at home. You always want to start the season off with a strong showing. Beating them 4-0 boosted the team’s energy and now we have to worry about next week again because this one is gone. The past is past. We have to work to get better because before teams did not know much about us but after beating L.A. we opened up the league’s eyes on Colorado as we mean business. We do mean business this year."
