Martin Rivero's goal "rescued a point" on the road at Chivas

Colorado Rapids midfielder Martin Rivero following the 1-1 road draw at Chivas USA:
On his return and being able to score:

“First of all, I’m very happy for the goal, personally. I’m also happy with the turnaround, and most of all, to be able to return to action and help the team earn a draw. It’s a point that we rescued; it was a tough match. They [Chivas] are in last place, but they wanted to win at home, and they complicated the game for us. We didn’t give our all like we would’ve liked, but the game is over, and we have to learn from these games and continue improving.”
On the next match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC:

“They’re a really good team, they play very well. We understand it - they’re fighting there with us for the top spot. We have to think about ourselves, in improving. They’re three games, three finals that we have against them because they’re our direct rival to go into the playoffs. We have to have the winning mentality that we’ve had for a while now."
