March is almost here, which means that the 2019 MLS regular season is just around the corner with a slew full of must-see Rapids games, both home and away. While you're busy organizing your gameday scarfs and practicing your chants, we wanted to subtly remind you of the exciting happenings in 2019 - across the MLS, US and continental calendar.
We'll start at the end - MLS Decision Day, the MLS Playoffs and MLS Cup will take place earlier this year due to the new playoff format. The Rapids will face LAFC at the Banc of California Stadium on the final day of the regular season.
Another pair of game fans won't want to miss are the two Rocky Mountain Cup fixtures. Stakes will be much higher this year with only two games instead of three as in past years.
On the international front, the US women's national team will pay a visit to DICK'S Sporting Goods Park as they prep for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, while the Mexican national team will headline Group A play of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup at Broncos Stadium.The CONCACAF Gold Cup will take place in June, with Mexico slated to headline matches in Denver.
