The Davy Arnaud-era begins Saturday night at BBVA Stadium as the Houston Dynamo look to bounce back from a four-game losing streak to host a Colorado Rapids team led guided by interim coach Conor Casey.

The Dynamo (9-13-3) fell to the Philadelphia Union 2-1 Sunday at Talen Energy Stadium. Christian Ramirez scored his first goal in orange to cancel out Kacper Przybylko's opening strike with a 42nd-minute equalizer. But Jack Elliott struck for the winner in the 78th minute, knocking in a rebound of his own shot that caromed off the crossbar. It was Wilmer Cabrera's last game as head coach.

The Rapids (7-13-5) are looking to rebound from a 1-0 midweek defeat to Minnesota United at Allianz Field. Darwin Quintero scored the lone goal in the 39th minute, less than two minutes after his penalty kick was saved by Clint Irwin.

The Dynamo won the first meeting this season, a 4-1 victory at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park in late March. Memo Rodriguez scored the opening goal four minutes after kickoff and, following own goals by Axel Sjöberg and Keegan Rosenberry, Alberth Elis extended the Houston lead to 4-0 before Kei Kamara closed the scoring from the penalty spot in the 81st minute.
