Brandyn Bumpas

Academy Goalkeeping Coach

Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Colorado, Bumpas attended JK Mullen High School and grew up playing for Denver Soccer Club and Colorado Rush. Along with that, Bumpas also spent time with the U-17 and U-20 Men’s Youth National Teams before attending North Carolina State University and finishing his playing career at Colorado Mesa University.

While playing, Bumpas began his coaching career and continued it after attending college, spending the last eight years coaching goalkeepers at the college level at Colorado Mesa University, Metro State University, Regis University, and the University of Denver.

While continuing his coaching career at the college level, Bumpas also managed to help cultivate a goalkeeper culture in the community by serving as the Director of Goalkeeping in the central region and Elite Director of Goalkeeping for the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club.
