Marie Goulding

Acaademy Head of School

As the Academy’s first Head of School, Marie Goulding leads the academic and holistic development of all Rapids Academy student-athletes. Appointed to the role in January 2025, she oversees the Rapids’ unique online school program in partnership with Colorado Connections Academy. Marie works closely with Academic Advisors, Academy technical staff, the Safeguarding department, and families to ensure players achieve balance across their academic, athletic, and personal lives.

With a background as a licensed teacher and extensive experience in education and player development, Marie is passionate about creating structures that allow young athletes to thrive both in the classroom and on the field. She has introduced new academic monitoring systems, enrichment opportunities, and holistic support programs that make education a central pillar of the Rapids Academy experience.

Hailing from the Emerald Isle of Ireland, Marie currently resides with her family in Arvada, Colorado.
