Keyon Khalilian

Academy U-16 Head Coach

Keyon joined the Academy staff in the Fall of 2023. Previously he spent time in the MLS as an Academy Head Coach and led his U16 group to win the 2022 MLS Next Cup. Keyon attended the University of Pittsburgh and majored in Finance while additionally spending time as a volunteer assistant for the Women’s Varsity team. Upon graduation, he pursued coaching full time. His 10+ year journey has taken him from grassroots soccer all the way to the professional environment. He currently holds his UEFA B License (issued by the German Football Association) and USSF A License. He’s also currently a member of the Elite Formation Coaching License – a coaching course through the French Football Federation sponsored by the MLS.
