Logan Murphy joined the Colorado Rapids in February of 2021 as the Academy Administrator. Logan is responsible for the administration of all Colorado Rapids Academy Operations and manages Game Day Operations for Academy home fixtures. Logan also assists the Futures program as the administrator and coach.
Prior to joining the Rapids Academy full time, Logan’s passion has been shaping and developing youth players of all ages as the 6U-7U Director of Coaching/Administrator at Skyline Soccer Association between 2017 and 2021. He also served as Head Coach for the U15 girls, assistant head coach for U18 girls, and assistant coach for the U19 girls. For the last 3 years Logan has worked as the assistant coach for the U13 and U16 boys ODP teams for the Colorado Soccer Association.
From 2011 to 2016 before moving to Colorado, Logan worked for the New England Revolution as a Soccer Operations Coordinator. During this time, Logan oversaw the Game Day Operations department and worked closely with the Revolution first team staff and incoming visiting teams.
A USSF ‘C’ Licensed coach, Logan has also completed his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a focus in coaching from Springfield College; while, also being a member of the men’s soccer program from 2011-2014. Originally from Albany, NY, Logan now lives just outside Denver with his fiancé, Alexandra and two dogs, Koda and Cheyenne
