Logan Murphy

Academy Operations Manager

Logan Murphy joined the Colorado Rapids in February of 2021 as the Academy Administrator, and has since been named the Academy Operations Manager. Logan is responsible for the administration of all Colorado Rapids Academy Operations and manages game day operations for Academy home fixtures. Logan also assists the Futures Program as an administrator and coach.

Prior to joining the Rapids Academy, Logan’s passion has been shaping and developing youth players of all ages as the 6U-7U Director of Coaching/Administrator at Skyline Soccer Association between 2017 and 2021. He also served as Head Coach for the U-15 girls, assistant head coach for U-18 girls, and assistant coach for the U-19 girls. Prior to joining the Academy, Logan has also worked as the assistant coach for the U-13 and U-16 boys ODP teams for the Colorado Soccer Association.

From 2011 to 2016 before moving to Colorado, Logan worked for the New England Revolution as a Soccer Operations Coordinator.

A USSF ‘C’ licensed coach, Logan has also completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management with a focus in coaching from Springfield College while also being a member of the men’s soccer program from 2011 to 2014. Originally from Albany, New York, Logan now lives just outside Denver with his wife, Alexandra and two dogs, Koda and Cheyenne.
