Charles Trimmer

Futures Program Director | U-18 Assistant Coach

Charles began his professional coaching career after a four-year playing career at Eckerd College in Florida, competing in the Sunshine State Conference. In 2021, he joined IMG Academy, where he spent three years progressing from assistant coach to program director. During his tenure, he built and oversaw the U12–U14 program, which produced numerous players who went on to join and continue playing for MLS academies.

In May 2024, Charles moved to Colorado to join the Colorado Rapids Academy as an assistant coach for the U18s and program manager for the Academy Futures Program. He now serves as the Futures Program Director, where he is passionate about developing top talent at the youngest ages and making a lasting impact on the soccer landscape in Colorado.
