The Colorado Rapids participate in MLSWORKS league-wide Greener Goals Week of Service leading up to Earth Day each season. The week of service was created as a collaborative effort to combine sport and service at the grassroots level, so we can have a positive impact in our community and impact the lives of those around us.

The Colorado Rapids & DICK’S Sporting Goods Park are proud to partner with We Don’t Waste. We Don’t Waste is an innovative food recovery service for those in need. Recent studies estimate that 40 percent of food produced in the United States is wasted, so We Don’t Waste is on a mission to collect excess food that otherwise would be landfilled and deliver it to Denver’s populations who lack sufficient food to meet basic needs. Since its inception, We Don’t Waste has recovered and distributed more than 100 million servings of food – equal to more than 33 million meals!
