Senior year, Borges started 17 games on defense and earned United Soccer Coaches All-North Region (Third Team), All-Big Ten (Second Team), Academic All-Big Ten, United Soccer Coaches All-North Region (Third Team)
Junior year, started all 15 matches he appeared in on the Wolverine back line. Earn All-Big Ten (Second Team).
During his sophomore year, he had a career-high six shots, two on goal in a single game, in a 2-2 draw against Yale, playing the full 110 minutes.
In his first year with the Wolverines, he missed portion of season due to United States U-20 national team duty. He did manage to play in 11 games with five starts in the role as a winger.
