Defender Ugo Ihemelu: "I would like to wish everyone back there in Colorado a wonderful holiday season and a happy and successful 2009! As for our team I wish for success for us during the next season and for our continued growth as a team."
Goalkeeper Chris Sharpe: "Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season this year I know I certainly am. I am here in Colorado working hard at my rehab on my ankle getting it reading for next season and spending some much needed time with my family and friends. I will be headed to Nebraska with my wife for Christmas for a huge family bash! I want to wish all the Rapids fans a very safe and happy holidays and I look forward to seeing you all in 2009!"
Defender Stephen Keel: "Happy Holidays to everyone out there in Rapids Nation! For the holiday season I only have a few things on my plate. First to watch the Demon Deacons of The Wake Forest University win their back-to-back national championship (as I am writing this we were robbed by UNC). Clearly the Deacs were the best team in college soccer. It is a tragedy that they did not win....moving right along. I will spend Christmas with the family and then jam off to Atlanta for New Year's and for a good friend's wedding (which yes I am in)! Then it is back to Colorado for some final preparation for preseason. I wish everyone a very happy holiday season and I look forward to seeing a packed house for Opening Day on March 28th!"
Goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul: "I just want to take this moment to wish all the Rapids' fans a Happy Holiday season. May God bring peace health and happiness to everyone!"
Defender Kosuke Kimura: "For this holiday season I wish a joyous time of year to all Rapids fans! And my own personal wishes? Well I wish that next year will be the Rapids' year to win the MLS Cup and also to win every home game. I will be doing my best to help make those wishes come true!"
On behalf of the entire Colorado Rapids organization including all the Rapids players coaches team staff and the front office happy holidays to all fans and have a safe and enjoyable holiday season!
