The Rapids Sports Science Staff Says: Start your day off right with a healthy serving of greens in this smoothie. Densely packed with many essential vitamins and minerals, leafy green vegetables are an important part of any healthy nutritional plan designed to be at your best. Don’t be afraid to throw both spinach and kale into the recipe for increased spectrum of nutrients.




Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup milk (skim, reduced or whole)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (honey or vanilla flavored)
  • 1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup mango cubes (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 small kiwi, peeled
  • 1/4 cup pineapple (fresh, frozen or crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup ice


Instructions: 


Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour in a glass and serve.
