Commerce City, Colo. – The Colorado Rapids held their annual Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, which by all accounts was a great success.
The event raised over $20,000 for Kroenke Sports Charities, with over 120 golfers participating in the scramble at Buffalo Run Golf Course in Commerce City.
Many Rapids players and coaches were grouped in foursomes with club partners, sponsors, and season ticket holders, while some companies kept their foursomes intact. Heineken USA took home first place with a combined score of 59.
Kroenke Sports Charities is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in Colorado through supports of health, education, and recreation programs. Proceeds from this tournament help the Rapids continue to give back to the community and most importantly, make a difference in the lives of our children.
