WHAT THEY SAID

Head coach Anthony Hudson

"It was a big improvement from last week in terms of the overall understanding on how we want to play. We focused all week on improving in our midfield, build up and our overall shape and possession. I think there was a big step forward in that."

"It was a good performance off the back of a good week at training. We played as a team, the mentality was good, attitude was good but fitness is the biggest focus now. Toronto is two weeks ahead of us so that is going to be a great test for us."

Forward Andre Shinyashiki

"I thought it was a very good overall performance from the whole team. I think we executed a lot of things the gaffer as set us up to do, so I am happy about that. The result is good but it is preseason so we are just looking to get better every game."

Forward Deigo Rubio

"I always say that the team is not only 11, it take the entire team. The game was good. We scored some good goals and had great chances too. It is so important to keep training, playing, being focus in these first few games and to know each other. It is going to be important during these preseason games."
