We are delighted to bring Kei to the club and look forward to seeing him on the field in the burgundy and blue in 2019."

A prolific striker, Kamara is Major League Soccer’s sixth all-time leading scorer with 112 goals. The striker has amassed an impressive 135 goals and 41 assists in 390 (28,675 minutes) career appearances. Last season, he scored 17 goals and notched 6 assists in all competitions for Vancouver.

Additionally, the striker played in England for Premier League side Norwich City and Championship side Middlesbrough between 2012 and 2014.

Born in Kenema, Sierra Leone, Kamara committed his international future to the West African nation in 2008. He made his senior national team debut during a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier match versus South Africa on June 14, 2008 in a 1-0 victory. He is the captain for the Sierra Leone senior squad and has 27 international caps and four goals for the Leone Stars.
